SQA Engineer

• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and test programs.
• Write and maintain a significant portion of the test suite using AI‑assisted development tools.
• Debug software products through systematic testing and maintain quality standards for Viavi's avionics test equipment.
• Analyze and document test results to support debugging and software modification.
• Collaborate with development engineers to identify and resolve software defects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with Python and Linux environments.
• Comfort working in a hardware and electronics environment.
• Experience or coursework involving test automation (e.g., Selenium or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a drive to find root causes.
• Passion for quality, testing, or software craftsmanship.
• Clear communication skills with engineering and cross‑functional teams.
