Available Positions Role Overview

Responsible for performing marine structural engineering for marine piling repair projects in a global business unit. Applies broad and diversified knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices in the preparation of complex engineering analyses. Marine construction experience is a plus. He/she should be familiar with multi‑discipline and multi‑project working environments. His/her duties will include development of preliminary/detail drawings and generate structural designs in the marine industry specific to pile structures.

He/she may also be responsible for defining scope of work, developing engineering specifications and design criteria, and assisting in construction cost estimate and subcontracting. Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications
  • BSCE or related discipline from an accredited university, Master’s degree preferred
  • PE Registration, preferred
  • 4+ years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering
  • Strong analytical skills in advanced structural and geotechnical design for piling structures
  • Knowledge of structural dynamics and finite element analysis, a plus
  • Proficient with commercial software such as STAAD Pro, SACS, FB‑Pier, L‑Pile, MathCAD, OPTIMOOR, or similar programs
  • Familiarity with domestic and international codes and standards related to pile design
  • Willing to travel

Chosen individuals for this position will be self‑starters creating their own business and using proven and disciplined selling techniques. Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and retention by initiating post‑installation follow‑ups. His/her duties will focus on selling products within assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales quota and following established guidelines. He/she needs to be comfortable identifying prospects utilizing creative lead‑generating techniques. In addition, he/she will be responsible for giving sales presentations and proposals to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.

  • 2+ years successful prior business‑to‑business sales experience
