Our rapidly growing Industrial Engineering team, which includes process, mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, architectural, geotechnical, and civil disciplines, is a multi‑faceted and leading‑edge division of Kiewit with best‑in‑class technical expertise focused on EPC and design‑build delivery of industrial projects in markets such as Food & Beverage, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, Pulp and Paper, Steel & Aluminum, Industrial Buildings, and Industrial Energy, Water and Utilities.
LocationThese positions can either be based out of our Kansas City, Kansas;
Lone Tree, Colorado; or Minneapolis, Minnesota offices.
- Perform detailed structural design for moderate to large industrial projects, including research, system selection, detailed analysis, and preparation of engineering drawings. Perform structural engineering design, analsysi, load calculations, for both steel and concrete structures used in Industrial projects. Designs may include:
Rebar, modular steel structures, stick built structures, prestressed concrete, cast in place concrete, foundations, columns, beams, stairs, connections, steel supports, anchor bolt details, piping, piperacks. - Apply and uphold department and industry standards while overseeing the development of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to develop plans, models, drawings, and detailed structural documentation that support coordination and constructability.
