Job Role s and Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for complex wastewater infrastructure projects.
Lead the design of wastewater distribution systems, transmission mains, storage facilities, pump stations, and treatment plants.
Review and approve engineering calculations, hydraulic models, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
Establish engineering standards, best practices, and QA/QC procedures.
Ensure technical excellence across multiple engineering projects.
Develop innovative engineering solutions for complex wastewater challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
Support proposal preparation, scope development, and fee estimates.
Participate in business development and client relationship management.
Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff.
Serve as a technical advisor to clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with EPA, state, and local regulations.
Conduct site visits and field investigations as required.
Support continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Extensive experience designing wastewater distribution systems, transmission mains, storage facilities, pump stations, and treatment plants.
Strong knowledge of EPA, state, and local wastewater regulations.
Experience performing hydraulic modeling and engineering analysis.
Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software such as Info Water, Info Works, WaterGEMS, HEC-RAS, or similar.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical review experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Business development and proposal preparation experience preferred.
