This is a confidential search on behalf of a well-established, multi-site product design and engineering firm with deep expertise in bringing complex electro-mechanical and plastic products to market. The company partners with global brands and manages the full product development cycle — from ideation through production launch — across a range of end markets including consumer electronics and medical devices. With established engineering hubs in the Kansas City and St.

You’ll own the full product design lifecycle — from early concept to tooling validation to medium-volume production — and serve as the definitive technical authority on plastic part and electro-mechanical assembly design across two engineering sites.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to work on exciting projects, where innovation and creativity are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a specific focus on 3D CAD, Solidworks, Creo, DFM, FEA, structural analysis, tolerance stack-up, AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, CAD drafting, Design for Manufacturing, and plastics.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in developing and improving our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
