Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to work on exciting projects, where innovation and creativity are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a specific focus on 3D CAD, Solidworks, Creo, DFM, FEA, structural analysis, tolerance stack-up, AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, CAD drafting, Design for Manufacturing, and plastics.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in developing and improving our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
  • Conduct product testing and create models and prototypes.
  • Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide them with professional guidance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct complex technical studies and analysis, and produce reports.
  • Apply expert knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Utilize 3D CAD, Solidworks, Creo, and other relevant software for product design and analysis.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis for complex assemblies.
  • Ensure all designed products adhere to company standards and meet customer requirements.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD, Solidworks, Creo, DFM, FEA, structural analysis, tolerance stack-up, AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, CAD drafting, and Design for Manufacturing.
  • Extensive knowledge of plastics and their applications in product design.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
