We're looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Wastewater Group for the summer in our Lenexa KS office. This internship offers hands-on experience across a variety of water-related infrastructure projects. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world projects in a collaborative learning-focused environment.

As a Civil Engineer Intern in our Wastewater Group you'll support the planning, design and delivery of wastewater collection and treatment projects that improve communities, protect public health and preserve the environment while learning from experienced engineers invested in your success.

• Assist with design and modeling using Civil3D AutoCAD and Micro Station
• Support quality control processes and follow client design standards
• Assist with design calculations and plan development
• Participate in field assignments and inspections
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary design team
• Engage in an active learning environment with mentorship from experienced engineers

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program
• Experience with AutoCAD and Excel preferred
• Minimum 27 GPA strongly preferred
• Completion of at least two years of coursework
• Prior internship or related experience is a plus
• Involvement in campus community or volunteer organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
