Job Summary
The Impound Specialist I will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and processing required functions in accordance with Impound requirements and timelines. This includes processing impound accounts, performing calculations for recoveries or abandonments, closing accounts, and responding to notifications from customers, recovery agents, impound facilities, and police departments.
Job Duties- Handle and process assigned volume within Impound processes to meet established SLA service level agreements.
- Service potential and actual impound calls within established call‑handling and correspondence requirements.
- Complete end‑to‑end Impound functions with accuracy and in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist other departments and Impound vendors as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in a servicing center environment. Preferable experience in Impound processes and knowledge of Impound regulations, policies, and structure. General knowledge of collections policies and procedures and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changes within a fast‑paced environment.
CompensationHourly pay range: $18.60 – $22.45.
