Hourly: $20.55 - $25.05 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies).

• Deliver an excellent customer experience both in person and over the phone to meet customers’ financial needs.
• Actively listen to customers so you can make appropriate recommendations that match their needs.
• Educate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions that improve their financial wellness.
• Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish relationships with other internal departments and refer customers to bank specialists when complex financial needs are identified.
• Be able to earn more than your base pay through our quarterly incentive program.

• Monday - Friday 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM, or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, or 8:45 AM - 5:45 PM, and Saturdays 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM

• Interact with customers in person and over the phone to ensure their financial needs are met through needs‑based conversations and sales fulfillment.
• Actively listen, understand, and make product and service recommendations based on customer needs to achieve individual and team sales and service goals.
• Educate customers on retail products and digital solutions that enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals.
• Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify complex financial needs and refer customers to bank specialists when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong sales skills with the ability to provide an excellent customer experience by easily connecting with customers in‑person and over the phone.
• Ability to meet personal and branch sales and customer service expectations.
• Motivated and organized self‑starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to a variety of situations with an optimistic outlook aligned with our culture and Core Values.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 1+ years sales or customer service experience required.
• Experience working in an environment with individual and team sales goals preferred.

For this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report that discloses credit history. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report.

This compensation range is for the Personal Banker I and II job and contemplates a wide range of factors considered for determining the most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $20.55 to $25.05 per hour. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance‑based incentive plan(s) that correspond to meeting performance goals.
