Finance Business Partner I / II (FBP I & FBP II) – Kansas / Missouri (eligible to work hybrid or onsite).

Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment.

As a Finance Business Partner, you empower financially sound planning and decision‑making throughout the organization. You collaborate with departments, sub‑divisions, and less complex divisions, bridging finance and operations, and assist in creating FP&A decision support tools. You train nonexecutive decision makers to use these tools and simplify analysis into actionable business logic.

• Perform analysis of financial data and develop comprehensive financial models to support high‑level business decisions.
• Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual divisional reporting deliverables, including variance analysis and key performance indicators for divisional teams.
• Work with divisional owners to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders to facilitate understanding of business unit dynamics and provide analyses that inform decisions.
• Monitor and track financial performance against targets, identifying and addressing discrepancies; conduct in‑depth analyses of data and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and leverage internal relationships to optimize financial decision making and profitability.
• Utilize scalable analytical models that produce fact‑based data analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Assist in developing business cases and recommendations on financial strategies focused on growth, market presence, and margin improvement (e.g., product launches, market entry, process improvement).
• Support divisional and corporate long‑term strategic planning initiatives by providing expert financial insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business unit and cross‑functional teams to gather and analyze critical financial information, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Support coordination of functional expenses and forecasts.
• Prepare and present financial presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, advising on best practices.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and coordinate special projects as required.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging practices, and regulatory changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related role with a proven track record.
• Level II requirements (if applicable): 5+ years in financial analysis, 1–2 years in a business‑unit partner role, 0–2 years leadership experience.

• Exceptional analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to convey complex financial information to senior management.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and adapting to change.
• Proficient in accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel and other business software.
• Understanding of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems and other financial software.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI preferred.
• Demonstrate business and financial acumen and understanding of divisional operations.
• High level of integrity and ethical behavior.

• Finance Business Partner I: $73,920 – $92,400
• Finance Business Partner II: $85,600 – $107,000
• Range is a good‑faith estimate based on education, skills, and experience. Total rewards include base compensation, incentive pay, benefits, and other perks.
