Lindsborg, Kansas, a city of over 3,700 residents, is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time police officer position for our growing and diverse community.
Under the supervision of the Chief of Police, the Lindsborg Police Officer is a non-exempt position responsible for the protection of life and property, maintaining order, and enforcing laws and ordinances within the city. The role includes assisting with investigations, patrolling to enforce traffic laws, investigating crimes and accidents, and providing public assistance. The officer must exercise initiative and discretion, especially in emergency situations.
The position offers a $5,000 hiring bonus for certified officers.
