Clinical Laboratory Scientist I/II/III - Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm

Basic Function and Scope: The CLS performs laboratory testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and ensures the validity of test results.

Essential

Job Duties

Level I - Minimum

  • Perform assays according to SOPs.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment.
  • Maintain inventory and document activities.
  • Adhere to processing timelines and safety standards.

Level II

  • Mentor and train staff.
  • Participate in projects and SOP writing.

Level III

  • Advanced troubleshooting and SOP mastery.
  • Serve on committees and train others.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field, relevant experience, and ability to work with infectious materials and automated/manual platforms. Skills in aseptic techniques, PC proficiency, and strong communication are essential.

Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity, communication skills, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and operate a computer for extended periods.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
