Overview:Speech Language Pathologist-II is an independent licensed provider of medical speech-language pathology services for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. SLP-II demonstrates proficiency in practice and identifies the physiological, safety, developmental and educational needs of patients and families using appropriate tests and/or technologies.

New employees must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005.
If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
- In accordance with certification and licensure standards, proficiently performs and documents diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures to evaluate, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
- Continues education, training and instruction to acquire new skills and competencies.
- Participates in activities to increase the quality, efficiency and outcomes of patient care, with increased leadership and responsibility.
- Master's Degree and 1-2 years experience Pathology and completed Clinical Fellowship required. Pediatric experience preferred, but not required. Experience as a paraprofessional in speech pathologist area accepted. or
