Overview

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Willow ABA Services is currently seeking qualified individuals to work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and provide clinic-based ABA services for families with children on the autism spectrum. This is a fulfilling position where you can create meaningful change in the lives of children and their families!

Willow RBTs help individuals between the ages of 2-21 years with autism meet individual goals that promote independence. Client goals and programs are designed and supervised by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts and RBTs implement the plans directly with each client. RBTs are provided with extensive initial and ongoing training throughout their career with Willow!

Why join the Willow ABA team?

At Willow ABA, we want our employees to know they are secure, significant, and accepted. As a Willow employee, you will be supported throughout your transition onto the team, and we will meet you where you are. We recognize that not all people learn the same way, so much of your training will be individualized to ensure you fully understand all of the expectations of your role prior to being expected to be independent.

We teach clients to accept differences, and we also encourage staff to embrace theirs. Our goal is for you to grow, learn, and find your passion. When you become a part of the Willow family, you will be cross trained to capitalize on your individual skills and interests.

How we invest in our staff

We invest in our one-to-one direct staff (RBTs) by providing them with a 40-hour training prior to taking their test for RBT credentialing. We also provide our RBTs with extensive 1:1 training on individual students as well as a list of competencies to pass prior to being approved to work with each client independently. We provide ongoing supervision in which our BCBAs give feedback and training on treatment protocols and individualized programming.

Per the BACB’s recommendation, we evaluate the level of need for BCBA oversight for each client and follow our clinical recommendations to ensure programming is implemented with fidelity. Our goal is to help children reach their fullest potential and we expect our employees to reach for theirs as well.
