Job Overview

College Park Family Care Center on Prairie Star Parkway is hiring a full‑time Clinical Medical Assistant. The position is Monday‑Friday during the day with no nights, no on‑call, no weekends, and no holidays. The assistant will provide high‑quality clinical support to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments, maintain supplies, and perform equipment sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer telephone calls and screen referrals.

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting OR current Medical Assistant certification.
• Candidates lacking Medical Assistant certification must obtain certification within one year of hire.
• Graduates from a Medical Assisting training program must obtain a clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.
