An excellent opportunity to join one of the leading 35‑bedded care homes in Blackburn. We are looking to recruit kind, caring, committed and compassionate Care Assistants, with or without previous care experience, to join our friendly and professional team.

• Ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality and are involved in general activities.
• Assist Service Users with personal care, dressing, washing, light housekeeping and provide mobility and food assistance.
• Work as part of a team to achieve required standards and report to the team leader on duty and registered care manager.

• Ability to follow instructions and work on own initiative
• One year of care experience and NVQ Level 2 holder preferred (not essential – training provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends and nights
• Clear, current enhanced DBS (preferably transferable)
