Prepares medications for dispensing:
Identifies and resolves common preparation issues (e.g. missing barcode) by applying expert knowledge to facilitate conversion of bulk medications into unit-dose packaging;
Distributes medications and stock items:
Applies expert knowledge to optimize medication distribution across the health system (e.g. courier logistics, cold-chain transportation);
Maintains Pharmacy Inventory:
Anticipates inventory needs of the pharmacy and investigates discrepancies;
Operates pharmacy computer systems:
Resolves issues related to inventory and dispensing systems;
Patient Care:
Communicates with patients, caregivers, and staff to resolve routine service concerns
