Shift: Day Job

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am-4:00pm;
Tuesday, Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm. 40 hours per week, 80 hours biweekly. Benefits provided.

• Interpret results of initial evaluation and determine appropriate patient goals.
• Develop and modify treatment plans as needed, utilizing appropriate treatment techniques.
• Participate in teaching opportunities or clinical education of students.
• Contribute to inter‑disciplinary program planning.
• Establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective team functioning and positive patient outcomes.
• Ensure personal safety while providing care.

• Associate Science Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit.
• Previous experience as a PTA in outpatient general orthopedic settings.
• Knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology, evaluation, and therapy techniques, current materials, technology, and professional trends.
• Effective communication with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and internal/external customers.
• Ability to incorporate understanding of patients’ behavioral, developmental, physical, emotional, and comfort needs across all age groups.
• Ability to lift/transfer patients and move treatment supply items without restriction.
