Job Description:- Observes patients to detect behavior patterns and report observations and concerns to the registered nurse or behavioral health clinician.
- Implements patient-centered care and trauma-informed care.
- Creates and supports a therapeutic environment for safe treatment implementation.
- Performs observation rounds on assigned patients, documenting in real time, in order to detect behavior patterns.
- Utilizes clear and positive communication skills to assess and provide therapeutic intervention for patients' and families' needs and concerns.
- Ability to communicate appropriately, professionally, and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and local, state, and national laws
- Proficiency in computer systems to enter and track patient records
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
- in a Social Science
- Of Position-Related Experience [Preferred]
- Of work experience in an Inpatient/24-hour-per-day mental health/substance abuse setting. [Preferred]
- N/A
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range:$16.26 - $26.02
