Ottawa County Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller & Registrar to join our Business Office team. If you're organized, dependable, and passionate about supporting your community, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Submit and follow up on insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Register patients, verify insurance eligibility, and update documentation
- Maintain patient accounts, track balances, and manage payments and adjustments
- Contact patients regarding payment plans and outstanding invoices
- Receive payments, issue receipts, reconcile cash, and prepare deposits
- Communicate effectively across departments and handle patient concerns professionally
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Accurate data entry skills and solid math abilities
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience with CAH or Rural Health Clinic billing is a plus
