Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Clinical Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clinical department, ensuring that all patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.

• Assist the Clinical Manager in managing the clinical department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Schedule and appropriately document patient schedules in a timely manner.
• Participate in coordinating care with management and patient interdisciplinary team.
• Provide effective communication to patients, staff members, other healthcare professionals, and referral sources.
• Respond to agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner; demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
• Promote the agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
• Reach out to and follow up with doctor offices regarding patient care.
• Manage the flow of patient care.
• Review and process clinical reviews.
• Communicate with the pre‑authorization team.
• Discharge patients from care under the direction of the Clinical Manager.
• Send lab referrals to the approved destination.

• Current and valid LVN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a Home Health setting.
• Experience with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR.
