As an Anxiety & Trauma Therapist at North Work, you will play a key role in helping your clients feel safe, seen, and supported. You will act as a guide for those you serve using evidence-based approaches to anxiety, trauma, and emotional development so your clients can build confidence, resilience, and healthy relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity for a therapist who wants to make a meaningful impact and believes in expanding access to mental health care for everyone-not just those who can afford private pay.
This is currently a part-time role offering 6-10 clinical hours per week, with room for growth as our practice expands.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, trauma-informed therapy using evidence-based practices.
- Support kids facing anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, and family conflict.
- Provide parent support and coaching to strengthen family systems and enhance progress in treatment.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other providers as appropriate.
- Exercise independent clinical decision-making in assessment, treatment planning, and delivery.
- Must hold a valid license in Kansas (LMSW, LMLP, LPC, LCPC, LSCSW, LP, etc.).
- Strong passion for working with children, teens, and families facing anxiety, trauma, and emotional/behavioral challenges.
