Specimen Processing - Forensic Processing Technician

Shift: Tues - Sat 12:30pm - 9:00pm CST

This position reports to the Supervisor, Forensic Processing and is responsible for the routine daily sample processing of the Forensic Toxicology Processing Department. This individual is accountable for all specimen receipt, sorting, data entry and work within the forensic processing department.
Duties and Responsibilities:High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:Prior laboratory experience preferred
Other:Able to sit or stand for long periods, Work in a laboratory environment and adhere to safety requirements, Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, Practical knowledge of computer systems, Commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
Pay Rate would be (with 10% shift dif already included).
Additional Job Details:- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer. Must be attention to detail.
- Lift up to 10 lbs. Work with open and processing urine, specimens.
- Opening and sorting packaging.
- Entering information into our LIMS system. Wear PPE.
- Tuesday - Saturday
- 12:30pm - 9:00pm
