Job Description The Total Rewards & Compliance Manager oversees the development, administration, and management of Rally House’s total rewards program and supports the Human Resources department with compliance. This includes compensation, health and welfare benefits, leave programs and compliance with state regulations and onboarding requirements. This leader collaborates with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities Develop and implement benefits strategies, policies, and programs
Oversee daily administration of company benefits in partnership with internal teams and external vendors
Maintain a strong understanding of the benefits landscape and group insurance plans, including plan documents and summaries
Contribute to budget preparation, manage vendor payments, and support implementation of new plans or changes
Oversee the creation of communication materials to enhance employee awareness of benefit offerings and ensure timely enrollment for new hires
Prepare benefit data and reports for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management
Manage employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and internal processes
Serve as a subject matter expert on leave and accommodation laws Monitor and analyze changes to multi-state policies and other employment laws and communicates accordingly
Evaluate compensation and benefits practices, policies, and guidelines for regulatory compliance
Oversee onboarding to ensure accurate HRIS data collection
Analyze compensation data to ensure pay equity and compliance, recommending adjustments to minimize risk Research compensation and benefits trends to advise on market competitiveness and merit pay decisions
Oversee planning, administration, and communication of merit and incentive pay programs
Collaborate with recruiting to create and maintain job descriptions, ensuring evaluations align with compensation plans and FLSA regulations
Collaborate with leadership to design and manage compensation structures for new and existing positions
Manage and maintain HRIS functionality for the disciplines in which they oversee
Align people analytics with business objectives to support leadership decision-making
Oversee HR compliance activities to include E-Verify, OSHA reporting, labor law posters for 300+ locations
Evaluate and implement changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations
Skills and Knowledge Ability to develop and maintain credible professional relationships with colleagues and vendors to achieve business goals, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Experience in HRMS administration and application tracking system; experience with Workday HCM including compensation, benefits and onboarding is preferred, Knowledge of federal, local and state employment laws, and general human resources policies and procedures, PHR/SHRM-CP or compensation/benefits certifications preferred, Strong people data analytics skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field or certifications7-10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits3+ years supervising or managing a team
Physical Requirements Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
