Job DescriptionAddison Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Lenexa, KS seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). This position serves as a strategic partner to operations leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, talent management, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day HR support
Key Responsibilities- Partner with plant and business leaders to align HR strategies with operational and business objectives
- Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
- Support full‑cycle recruitment efforts for salaried and hourly positions while partnering with hiring managers on workforce planning
- Drive employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Assist with performance review processes, compensation recommendations, and employee development planning
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to provide recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness
- Partner with leadership to support organizational changes, restructuring, and change management initiatives
- Collaborate with HR leadership on policy development, training programs, and continuous process improvement
- Support leave administration, ADA accommodations, and other employee lifecycle activities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
- Previous manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or production environment experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR compliance
- Experience supporting both exempt and non‑exempt employee populations
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills
- SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
