Position Overview

Reporting directly into the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will support the recruitment of positions that range from hourly to supervisor level for several CJ Logistics warehouses and distribution centers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position
  • Meet hiring goals while ensuring the candidate experience is of the highest standards and manage high volume/full recruiting lifecycle for warehouse/distribution positions across multiple locations
  • Participate in job fairs
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, perform phone screens, and passively recruit and engage candidates
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospective future candidates
  • Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements in partnership with hiring managers
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process as the candidate’s key point of contact
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned or required
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience—experience in supply chain a plus
  • Self‑motivated, self‑starter, extremely organized, with exceptional follow‑up skills delivering regular updates and feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Working knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues including Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk while working on a computer
  • Use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and telephone
  • Speak and hear clearly in person, virtually, and over the phone
  • Occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or lift up to 10 pounds

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level and climate controlled.

Location & Remote Eligibility

This is a hybrid role based out of our New Century, KS or Riverside, MO office. Regular, on‑site presence is required (4 days per week) or as otherwise directed by the company.

Schedule

Work hours may vary by shift assignment and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs. Flexible hours may be required to support deadlines or cross‑functional collaboration.
