Overview

Responsibilities- Work with application developers to store and retrieve business objects and other data efficiently in Postgre
SQL and Mongo
DB. - Create table structures that map to business classes and optimize queries for fast and reliable data storage and retrieval.
- Familiarity with creating stored procedures using languages such as T-SQL.
- Monitor and optimize indexes and queries as database loads change over time.
- Help developers troubleshoot application issues with data components.
- Analyze legacy application data stores and plan and execute migrations from on-premise SQL Server storage to cloud-based databases.
- Assist migrating data to data storage on Google Cloud for analytical reporting.
- Support the existing SQL Server-based infrastructure until full migration away from it is complete.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with Redis cache.
