We are committed to recruiting, developing, and advancing employees from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences, as well as supporting a culture of safety and inclusiveness that allows you to contribute to your fullest potential. We place high value on training and professional development, encouraging you to broaden and strengthen your unique skill sets so you can fully realize your potential.

PCG is seeking a Learning Experience Specialist to join our Strategic Development team in Lenexa, KS at our corporate headquarters. This role is primarily focused on learning system administration and support (approximately 70%), with secondary responsibility for instructional design and content development (approximately 30%).

In this role, you will serve as the primary system owner and administrator for our Learning Management System, ensuring reliable system performance, accurate learning data, and a positive user experience. You will provide first‑line system support, manage configuration and reporting, and partner with internal teams and vendors to optimize learning technologies across our learning ecosystem.

In addition to system ownership, you will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design and maintain effective learning solutions that support performance, compliance, and professional growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a systems‑minded learning professional who enjoys blending technology, process improvement, and learner experience.

About You:

Mindset & Attitude
  • You’re a proactive self‑starter who thrives working independently and collaboratively.
  • You enjoy being hands‑on with systems and take pride in building scalable, reliable processes.
  • You approach challenges with curiosity, digging into system behavior, data, and configurations to diagnose issues and identify sustainable solutions.
  • You think like an owner, driven by Character, Capacity, and Commitment.
  • You are process‑oriented, detail‑focused, and motivated by continuous improvement.
  • You are comfortable operating in both technical and collaborative spaces, translating system complexity into clear guidance for others.
Responsibilities & Functions

This position will contribute to the overall success of our learning and development initiatives in both strategic and supportive ways. The role requires collaboration with all levels — from individual contributors to top leadership — to ensure a positive experience for learners and to provide best‑in‑class issue management and resolution. As a part of our team, you will work both independently and as a team member in a fast‑paced environment.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Learning Systems Administration & Support (Primary Focus)

  • Act as the primary system administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS)—responsible for configuration, maintenance, course setup, and ongoing optimization.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees with LMS questions or issues, providing hands‑on troubleshooting and user education.
  • Manage LMS users, permissions, enrollments, completions, transcripts, and learning records to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Support system testing, feature releases, and enhancements; document processes and maintain administrative SOPs.
  • Partner with IT, HR, and external vendors to support system integrations and resolve technical issues.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze reports and dashboards to support compliance, visibility, and continuous improvement.

Learning Design (Secondary Focus)

  • Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to develop both digital and in‑person training experiences.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to translate learning needs into effective, scalable solutions within the learning ecosystem.
  • Design or update learning assets such as eLearning modules, storyboards, facilitator guides, and job aids as needed.
