2. Associate Enterprise Architects at WSO2 focus on various roles, including pre-sales engineering for prospects, technical ownership of customers, and subject matter expertise for architecture consultancies.
As an Associate Enterprise Architect you will act as the linchpin connecting customers, internal sales, research and development (R&D), and customer success, across all of WSO2’s products and solutions, including API management, integration, identity and access management, and our internal developer platform vision. You will engage with prospects from the outset, grasp both technical and business needs, architect the right solution, advocate and recommend the ideal product, translate the product into a tailored solution or specific use case, construct a proof of concept, facilitate the conversion of prospects into customers, and persistently foster and expand customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver custom demos, proof of concepts, and solution architectures aligned to customer business, technical, and integration requirements. Evaluate RFP feasibility and contribute to technical and business responses.
- Translate customer needs into scalable, high‑quality solution designs, clearly communicating technical and business value through presentations, workshops, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in WSO2 products, architecture, industry verticals, and competitive offerings. Stay current on technology trends, product evolution, and future direction.
- Lead technical aspects of complex project deliveries, including technical ownership, estimation, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. Collaborate closely with delivery managers, product teams, and customers to manage expectations and dependencies.
- Conduct architectural and deployment reviews, produce review documentation, and recommend best practices aligned to customer use cases. Follow up on action items with customers and account teams.
- Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and enablement sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams, tailoring content for executives, architects, developers, and Dev Ops audiences.
- Serve as a primary technical advisor for assigned accounts, supporting post‑sales expansions, account planning, and strategic engagements. Build trusted relationships and manage multiple accounts and prospects.
- Drive business and technical discussions with strategic customers and lead customer escalations in partnership with support teams, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer usage, industry standards, and Dev Ops best practices. Identify and advocate for critical product improvements.
- Mentor and lead team members, supporting role clarity, skills development, and knowledge sharing. Lead internal technical discussions and foster continuous learning.
- Contribute to thought leadership through high‑quality blogs, articles, talks, and public content, positioning WSO2 as a leader in enterprise and business architecture.
- Collaborate with marketing and field teams to design and deliver market‑relevant events, webinars, and campaigns.
- Lead and implement initiatives to improve team productivity, quality, and delivery practices. Measure impact and embed improvements into standard operations.
- Continuously expand technical, architectural, and leadership capabilities, applying prior experience and best practices to strengthen team performance and company vision.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Availability for short, frequent travel.
