Summary
IT Hardware Provisioning Specialist (Onsite 5 Days Per Week)
IT Hardware Provisioning Specialist is responsible for receiving, imaging, configuring, tracking, and shipping company IT hardware to end users. This role supports the full device lifecycle within a provisioning or operations center, ensuring accurate inventory management, compliance with asset controls, and timely delivery of equipment to associates.
This is a hands‑on, operations‑focused role requiring strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to documented processes.

- Image and configure devices using standard builds, install required software, and perform quality assurance prior to deployment while troubleshooting basic issues.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records throughout device lifecycle stages including receiving, staging, deployment, and returns.
- Package and ship devices to end users and field locations while coordinating tracking and ensuring accurate user and asset assignments.
- Process returned devices for re‑imaging, redeployment, or disposition in accordance with asset management standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures and update tickets and asset systems while supporting compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.
- Identify process gaps and support operational improvements while assisting with projects and surge support as needed.
- 2–4 years’ experience in relevant field (IT support, help desk, or operations experience preferred).
- High school education (Associate degree or technical education preferred).
- Ability to use computers and learn new systems and tools.
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high volume work.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and elevate issues appropriately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service orientation when supporting end users.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and handle IT equipment as required.
