Supply Chain Manager
Location:
Lenexa, KS | Phoenix, AZ | Jamestown, ND
Contract – 1st Shift, 5‑hour days, 40‑hour week (7am-5pm)
Pay Rate: $56.35/hr benefits include overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401(k).
Estimated travel: 25‑30% (up to 40% as required). Eligible for relocation.
Requirements- U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Supply chain and SAP experience.
- Manage supply chain to resolve problems, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery. Drive solutions, keep production moving.
- Collaborate with worldwide suppliers to deliver affordable, high‑quality parts meeting customer needs.
- Travel expectation about 25‑30%, can increase up to 40% as required.
- Relocation eligible.
- Act as a problem solver and lead when urgent issues threaten production flow.
- Identify and implement operational solutions that achieve business objectives and remove delivery barriers.
- Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborate across departments to align process outcomes with organizational goals.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to influence results and accelerate resolution.
- Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions for sustainable solutions.
- Drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements supporting long‑term growth.
- Apply project management and fact‑based decision making to deliver results under tight timelines.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Master’s degree in business or technical field.
- Meaningful experience working with suppliers.
- Project management and/or process improvement/Lean experience.
- Customer service mindset and strong follow‑up skills.
- Delivery assurance experience.
- Experience organizing initiatives and processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a variety of commodities ideal; ability to build relationships with various partners.
- Aerospace experience.
