Overview
Supply Chain Specialist 2 – Lenexa, KS.
Full‑time role focusing on procurement, contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply‑chain operations.
Compensation: $86,000 per year.
- Develop and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on criteria such as price and reliability.
- Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Collaborate with logistics to monitor shipments and address delivery issues.
- Resolve complex contract issues and support procurement staff as needed.
- Be a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain and contracts.
- Have experience with RFP processes and contract negotiation.
- Have at least 4 years of negotiation experience with suppliers.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and general database software.
- Have strong communication skills and a passion for safety.
- Be proficient in general software tools as required.
