Position: Facility Maintenance Technician at All American Indoor Sports

POSITION OVERVIEW

All American Indoor Sports is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep of the All American Indoor Sports facility. The position will require the basic maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations needed to maintain the facility.

This is a part-time position and the position’s hours may vary based on need, including some evenings and weekends as necessary to work around scheduled events and tournaments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Routine Maintenance: Perform tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other building fixtures, including changing filters, batteries, valves, faucets, fans, light bulbs, light ballast, office work aids, and AV equipment.

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to building systems and equipment, and take appropriate action to resolve them efficiently.

Repair Work: Conduct minor repairs and renovations as needed, including painting, carpentry, and drywall repair.

Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify safety hazards, ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, and take corrective actions as necessary, including NFPA inspections.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures, and take appropriate measures to minimize disruptions.

Light Cleaning and Janitorial Duties: Assist with cleaning and janitorial tasks as needed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and expenditures to track maintenance history and identify recurring issues.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two or more years in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is required.

Strong carpentry, painting, and drywall experience for minor repairs and renovations.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Required to sit, stand, and walk.

Frequent stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing.

Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and/or drag up to fifty pounds (50 lbs) if necessary.

M-F and Weekend availability

PAY RATE

$20-25 Based on Experience
