Chief Engineer, Springhill Suites – Lenexa, KS

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance department at our Springhill Suites hotel in Lenexa, KS. This role will manage all aspects of hotel maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and preventive maintenance programs.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose problems and repair machines.
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for rooms, ensuring standards are met quarterly and documentation is recorded.
• Respond to maintenance requests from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes for occupied rooms.
• Conduct pool chemical testing.

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years of facilities experience.
• Experience in a management position.
