Position SummaryThe Portfolio Manager is responsible for analyzing and benchmarking customer projects and program portfolios against each other. The role facilitates lessons learned and continuous improvement and collaborates with HQ to develop and implement cross‑BU global portfolio, program, and project management guidelines, processes, methods, and tools. The Portfolio Manager works closely with sales and execution teams.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and implement cross‑BU global portfolio, program, and project management guidelines, processes, methods, and tools respecting existing standards (e.g., ISO; ICB 4.0) in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and compare global and regional portfolios, including programs and projects, against each other using standardized performance indicators (e.g., Schedule Performance Index, Cost Performance Index, Non‑Conformance Cost) and, on a case‑by‑case basis, escalates to relevant committees.
- Collect, analyze, and distribute local, regional, and global lessons learned to continuously improve overall portfolio performance.
- Guide senior management in the efficient use of project management tools and tailor individual reporting.
- Support program and project managers as the key user in all aspects of the efficient use of the project management tools.
- Assist with integrated and cross‑functional planning of programs and projects in operative Project Systems Business.
- Support Steer Co meetings in accordance with requirements.
- Support project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle, working across multiple departments.
- Promote a safety culture within customer projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration, and 7 years of experience in customer project execution for power generation, or 11 years of experience in customer project execution for power generation.
- Excellent experience as a Program or Project Manager, ideally in an EPC environment.
- Excellent experience in SAP landscape (e.g., PPM, BW, SAC, CEC).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of construction management processes.
- Power generation market knowledge, particularly RICE (Gas & Diesel) and BESS.
- Good business acumen and a basic understanding of P&L.
- Proven knowledge in portfolio, program, and project management (e.g., IPMA or PMI certification).
- Proven knowledge in process management and KPI systems.
- Effective communication with senior management as well as at the working level.
- Positive attitude and openness for collaboration with experts in APAC, EMEA, and NALA.
- Team player with an open mindset, collaborative spirit, and exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
