You will play a pivotal role driving the team to meet the committed operational targets and to continuously improve the process, while exceeding our customers’ expectations. This is an onsite opportunity located in Greenwood, IN.
- Lead daily shipping, receiving, warehousing and material handling activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise warehouse personnel, water spiders, inventory coordinators and support staff.
- Own inventory accuracy and accountability across the Service Center.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely within company systems.
- Maintain documentation and traceability requirements for government and commercial products.
- Support internal audits, customer audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure proper handling and disposition of government property when applicable.
- Ensure accurate shipping documentation and record retention.
- Analyze logistics performance and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper disposition, documentation and approval of scrap materials.
- Maintain accountability for company assets and inventory throughout the facility.
- Direct activities of the Maintenance Technician.
- Establish preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facility assets.
- Coordinate facility repairs and contractor activities.
- Ensure equipment uptime and support operational readiness.
- Partner with EHS and Safety teams to maintain a safe working environment.
- Build a culture of accountability, compliance and operational excellence.
- Develop team members through coaching, training and performance management.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and improve processes.
- Drive corrective actions for recurring operational issues.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Post‑high school technical education or experience; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience from a relevant area in a production/manufacturing company.
- Preferred ERP/WMS experience with data analytical skills.
- Deep knowledge and experience with lean six sigma is desirable.
- Strong logistics and transportation experience, both domestic and international including Incoterms, IOTA, CFR
49, transport documents, etc. - Team player and structured.
- Sense of urgency with a customer focus.
- Must be able to challenge, develop and motivate teams.
- Drive the team to exceed customer and management expectations while developing and engaging individuals.
- Ability to present and lead discussions with internal customers in the US, Canada and South America.
- Participate in safety training, audit findings, documentation accuracy, government property compliance and reduce‑reuse‑recycle initiatives.

- The base salary for this role is typically $80,000 – $90,000 per year.
