City Wide is seeking a driven and experienced Divisional Night Manager (NDM) to lead and oversee all nightly operations across our janitorial and facility service accounts. This role is critical to ensuring consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and high client satisfaction during evening hours.
The NDM will lead a team of Night Managers, partner closely with Facility Services Managers (FSMs), and support the Director of Operations to maintain quality standards, staffing levels, and compliance across all assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, train, and develop a team of Night Managers across multiple territories
- Oversee nightly operations to ensure all services meet contract specifications and quality standards
- Ensure proper staffing levels across Independent Contractor (IC) accounts; coordinate with staffing agencies as needed
- Conduct routine night visits to verify service quality and resolve issues in real time
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of Night Managers and ICs
- Hold ICs accountable for staffing, service delivery, and performance expectations
- Act as the primary escalation point for night‑time operational and client concerns
- Ensure completion, documentation, and follow‑up of nightly inspections within CRM systems
- Partner with FSMs and Director of Operations to resolve client issues and support new account startups
- Monitor IC compliance with safety, insurance, and operational standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ICs and night vendors
- Identify and support cross‑selling opportunities during site visits
- Respond to special projects and emergency situations during off‑hours
- Perform additional operational duties as needed
Success in this role will be measured by:
- 100% completion of nightly inspections and documented follow‑ups
- Client retention support metrics exceeding 90%
- Achievement of IC staffing and service compliance standards
- Completion of all Night Manager coaching sessions, performance reviews, and Level 5 meetings
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years of leadership experience in night operations, facilities management, or service‑based environments
- Strong knowledge of janitorial and facility services operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem‑solving abilities with sound independent decision‑making
- Experience managing KPIs, operational metrics, and related performance data
