Plant Manager – Precision Machine Assembly (Kansas)

Salary: 120,000 – 160,000 Benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations across machine assembly, fabrication, testing, and shipping areas.
  • Lead and mentor teams of assemblers, technicians, engineers, and production supervisors.
  • Ensure equipment and systems are built to exacting quality, performance, and safety standards.
  • Optimize workflow, resource planning, and production scheduling to meet customer deadlines.
  • Partner with engineering to support new product introductions and design‑for‑manufacture improvements.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace in accordance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets, production KPIs, and plant performance metrics to achieve financial and operational targets.
About You
  • Proven experience in a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Production Manager role within a machine assembly, equipment manufacturing, or automation environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and systems assembly processes.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large teams and improving manufacturing efficiency.
  • Skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
