Machine Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

• Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.

• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine tools and their use
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs

• Education:
  
  HS/GED
• Experience:
  
  3 years prior machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
