Quality Inspector

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality control, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Rebuild/Production department supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $21 - $23/hr depending on experience

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm + OT

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials to ensure quality standards are met before storage.

+ Conduct in-process and final inspections on components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.

+ Identify and control non-conforming products, ensuring proper containment to prevent use or shipment.

+ Document inspection findings accurately and certify products prior to shipment release.

+ Assist in continuous improvement efforts by documenting opportunities and participating in problem-solving teams.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or equivalent work experience.

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of welding and/or quality control experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

+ Proficiency with inspection tools such as rulers, tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges (both analog and digital).

+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings for inspection planning.

+ Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred.
