Production & Packaging Operator – 1st Shift
Lenexa, KS | $18.00/hr | Full-Time
Pay & Schedule for Production & Packaging Operator- $18.00 per hour
- Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Overtime available on Fridays based on production needs
- Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor product quality and perform visual inspections
- Complete production documentation and quality checks
- Make basic machine adjustments and report issues
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
This facility produces microbiological products used in laboratories and testing environments. Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Occasional odors related to biological production processes
- Handling or working near animal‑derived materials (such as sheep’s blood)
- A highly regulated, sanitation‑focused manufacturing setting
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours
- Ability to distinguish colors for quality control
- Steel‑toed or composite‑toed footwear required
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
