Systems Engineer
Overview
The ARCHER Engineer aligns technical expertise with mission‑critical national security objectives. You will lead the Archiving and Enhanced Retrieval (ARCHER) team, designing and developing systems that capture, centralize, and present live and historical simulation data for exercise management, leader briefs, and After Action Review production.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience with military training and training support.
- 5+ years of experience integrating training environments, planning architectures, and stimulating Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) for unit training events and distributed exercises.
- 2+ years of experience performing system enhancements and installing software updates.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- DoDM 8140.03 DCWF 441 Advanced Level Certification.
- 3+ years of experience in software development following Agile methodology.
- Experience with GIS platforms and 3‑D visualization technologies.
- Knowledge of test‑driven development, unit and integration testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and Web services administration.
- Knowledge of scripting automation using Power Shell, Bash, or Python for deployment and monitoring tasks.
Salary range: $99,000 – $225,000 annualized (USD) based on location, experience, and contract requirements.
