Production Batchmaker
- Day Shift
Manufacturing plant is in search of a Batchmaker to assist in the ink production area.
Shift
- Monday
- Friday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.
Starting Pay: $18.25 (with no previous batch experience) and $20.25/hr (with previous batch making, mixing, and blending experience)

Responsibilities include:
- Weighing or measuring materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements
- Recording weight of materials used on production records. Introducing appropriate raw materials into batches in the proper sequence.
- Observing the production of the ink and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Adding or mixing chemicals and ingredients for processing.
- Communicate with batch makers from other shifts.
- Work with the QA department to insure quality standards are met.
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each work shift

Must be able to:
- stand and walk around the production floor for long periods of time
- reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulders
- bend to retrieve containers and packages
- constantly lift materials to make batches
- climb ladders to retrieve materials
- talk or hear
- frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
- may be required to push/pull on wheels, up to 4000 pounds
- specific vision abilities required are the ability to distinguish color
