Immediately Hiring - CNC Operators ($24-29/HR)
This role operates CNC fabrication machinery to bend, drill, broach, and ream metal parts according to established specifications. Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will set up and run CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch Press machines, make program and tooling adjustments, and monitor quality and machine performance to ensure consistent, accurate production.
Responsibilities- Operate a variety of fabrication machines, with primary focus on CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch Press equipment.
- Run CNC machinery that automatically bends, drills, broaches, or reams metal parts according to established specifications.
- Make adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings to meet specifications or correct faulty programming and equipment performance.
- Make informed decisions on part quality, tolerances, and operation sequence throughout the production process.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running correctly and not malfunctioning.
- Utilize planning and programming software such as NC Express, NFOR, Tru Tops, and AutoPOL for reporting, scheduling, and investigating parts.
- Work from engineering drawings and sketches to interpret requirements and set up machines accordingly.
- Set up tooling using pre-made 3D programs and verify correct placement and configuration.
- Set up and adjust CNC programs as needed to achieve desired part dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect raw materials prior to production to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Maintain 5S practices on the shop floor, including organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production orders.
- At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machinery.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC punch presses, and CNC press brakes.
- Ability to operate punch presses and related punch press machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and sketches.
- Understanding of CAD/CAM technologies and their application in CNC operations.
- Strong math skills to support accurate measurements, setups, and quality checks.
- Ability to monitor machine performance and identify potential malfunctions.
- Capability to follow established specifications, tolerances, and operation sequences.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating a Prima Power Press Brake is preferred.
- Experience operating a Safan Press Brake is preferred.
- Experience operating a Prima Power Shear Genius Punch Machine or Trumpf Punch Machine is preferred.
- Experience with shear and brake equipment, including shear presses, shear machines, shear brake presses, and shear/brake press combinations.
- Experience as a Press Brake Operator is an asset.
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift is preferred.
- Familiarity with planning and programming tools such as NC Express, NFOR, Tru Tops, and AutoPOL.
- Experience working with 5S or similar workplace organization methodologies.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse facility designed to provide a comfortable and consistent working environment. You will work around CNC fabrication equipment, including CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch Press machines, as well as shear and brake presses and related machinery. The facility operates multiple shifts, with openings on both first and second shifts.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
