Lyn Tec designs and manufactures innovative power control solutions used in performance venues, commercial facilities, and mission-critical environments worldwide.

We're looking for a collaborative, hands-on Production Manager who enjoys building efficient manufacturing systems as much as building great teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical problems, improving processes, and developing employees who take ownership of their work.

Previousexperience Intheelectricalpower Industry Is Notrequired.

We welcome candidates from adjacent technical industries—including industrial automation, OEM equipment manufacturing, PLC and controls integration, water or wastewater systems, instrumentation, HVAC controls, avionics, robotics, and other technical manufacturing environments.

What You’ll Do

Lead People & Build Culture (40%)

You'll lead a highly skilled production team responsible for assembling, testing, and shipping Lyn Tec products.

You'll Be Expected To:

  • Coach employees to become confident, independent problem-solvers rather than relying on constant direction.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop employee skills through coaching, cross-training, and regular feedback.
  • Conduct meaningful performance evaluations focused on technical growth, initiative, and professional development.
  • Promote open communication and collaboration across Production, Engineering, Inventory, and Sales.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, eliminate waste, and simplify production processes.
Production Operations & Quality (40%)

You'll oversee daily manufacturing operations while ensuring every product meets Lyn Tec's quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead daily assembly, testing, and completion of electrical control products.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate daily production priorities to meet customer commitments.
  • Partner with Engineering during prototype builds and product changes.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing, electrical, and testing issues.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve throughput, reduce rework, and increase first-pass quality.
Operational Planning & Administrative Excellence (20%)

Successful Production depends on preparation – not surprises.

You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure upcoming production is fully supported.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to review upcoming production schedules and verify manufacturing readiness.
  • Identify material shortages, engineering changes, capacity constraints, or other production risks before they affect customer deliveries.
  • Communicate potential issues early and collaborate on practical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, quality records, and manufacturing metrics.
  • Support inventory accuracy and component availability.
  • Ensure compliance with external certification requirements and company quality procedures.
  • Use production data to recommend workflow improvements and increase operational efficiency.
What Makes You Successful

We’re looking for someone who enjoys improving both systems and people.

You’ll Likely Be Successful If You Have:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field, equivalent hands-on leadership exp. is equally valued.
  • 5+ years leading production, manufacturing, assembly, or technical operations teams.
