CNC Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in a machine shop dedicated to producing hydraulic manifolds. The role involves operating Akuma and Moriseiki horizontal milling machines and performing quality control tasks using micrometers and calipers.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines, including Akuma and Moriseiki horizontal milling machines.
- Perform quality control checks using micrometers and calipers.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Maintain and inspect CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Experience with CNC machine operation.
- Proficiency in using horizontal milling machines.
- Quality control experience with tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn advanced CNC functions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Fanuc, Vertical mills, and Mazak machines is a plus.
- Familiarity with inspection and machining processes.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled facility focused on producing hydraulic manifolds. Join a small team of 4+ machinists and 5 machine operators. The first shift runs from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Dress code includes jeans or shorts, a T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
