Position: Welder - $22.00/hr - 2nd Shift

The Welder is responsible for timely and efficient welding and fabricating of material at jobsites and/or facility. The role’s objective is to safely, accurately, and productively move and produce material that satisfies internal and external customers.

Pay starts at $19.50/hr plus a $2.50/hr shift differential, with higher pay based on experience.

Schedule:

3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday. Weekly pay. On‑the‑job training. Work is moderate‑to‑high stress and constantly changing. Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 51 lbs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings.
  • Communicate issues with fixtures, customer prints, material, welding equipment, and supporting equipment and power/hand tools used in the welding process.
  • Follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times.
  • Establish priorities for efficiently staging, processing, and packaging materials.
  • Accept responsibility for all aspects of the work produced.
  • Inspect and verify all aspects of the material when receiving, producing, or packaging – size, grade, measurements, heat, quantity, etc.
  • Scrutinize customer requirements and special instructions to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Confirm materials and parts are produced to print.
  • Ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Ensure audit and material traceability procedures are being followed throughout the process.
Requirements
  • Work at a job site or facility within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy.
  • Stand, walk, or be mobile for up to eight hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 51 lbs; push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Wear proper PPE at all times (as described in company policy).
  • Must work with hot welding processes and products.
  • Must possess ability to work a flexible schedule and be on‑call at various times including possible weekends and holidays.
  • Fast‑paced, moderately stressful, constantly changing day‑to‑day work environment.
