Shift & Compensation

Shift: 2nd, Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm

Compensation: $18.50 – $19.50 hourly. This position is eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered varies depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience and internal equity.

Job Duties
  • Run equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping a quality product to the customer, including sheet‑fed, digital presses, bindery equipment, and other processing equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and processes to ensure quality of the orders produced while working in a team environment to achieve daily goals.
  • Perform basic manual numbering, automated or basic setups and changeovers as required.
  • Set up the press by identifying and loading correct stock, setting the correct paper path and stretch, mounting plates, die registration, adjusting ink and water levels, and setting up attribute functions such as perforations, numbers, file holes, and thermo units.
  • Determine and understand all order instructions and run the press productively while meeting job requirements such as ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, and required attributes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and make adjustments to allow continued operation, including blanket changes, wash‑up units, cleaning water system, and roller settings.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance and cleaning to ensure a quality product.
  • Understand all press controls and demonstrate their use.
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HS/GED with 1 year printing experience with similar equipment.
  • Familiar with product, equipment, printing process, and ink usage.
  • Mechanical ability to operate and maintain press.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
