Assembly Technician

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine material requirements and assembly instructions;
Assemble large electrical cabinets using power tools, hand tools, and soldering equipment in accordance with quality standards and specifications;
Manufacture wires and cables by cutting to specified lengths, tying for neatness, installing identification tags, routing in tubing or wire trays, installing covers and connectors, and terminating correctly;
Perform electrical wiring tasks, including wiring harnesses and cable management, to ensure safe, organized, and functional assemblies;
Prepare finished material and equipment for shipping, including building wooden crates, packing materials and equipment, installing tie-downs to secure loads
