We are looking for an MRO Scheduling Supervisor to work onsite at our Lenexa, KS facility. You will plan and prepare MRO schedules, assess changes and improve processes as necessary. You will track the status of material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. You will also prepare reports on work in progress and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials is timed to meet production requirements plus monitor output to ensure customer requirements are met.
WhatYou Will Do
- Monitor the scheduling process to create predictable ship dates on repaired units & meet revenue targets
- Adjust schedules based on real-time production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to minimize delays
- Maintain ERP system values to support scheduling processes
- Work with Operations leaders on all expedited units and update schedules accordingly.
- Communicate with purchasing team on needed parts and reflect recovery dates in the schedule.
- Analyze production capabilities and determine daily workloads to different production lines or teams to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with customer service, purchasing, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and customer needs
- Generate reports on production progress, performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement
- Support engineering projects for production
- Sit on change implementation board as stakeholder for drawing change
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience working in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
- Data analysis for determining capacity, customer demand, determining root cause for missed delivery commitments
- Good communication and collaboration skills with other departments
- General understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methods
- Ability to develop and meet deadlines
Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to abrupt change - Experience working with more advanced reporting tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Tableau
