Material Handler
The role of Material Handler involves the transportation and storage of materials across the facility. This position requires precision and attention to detail as you will manage inventory and assist in shipments.
Responsibilities- Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift to transfer materials.
- Assist with shipments as needed.
- Calculate inventory using a computerized inventory system.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
- Experience in material handling.
- Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to perform cycle counting.
- 6+ years of experience in warehouse or production environments.
- Experience in inventory control.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work EnvironmentWork in the warehouse section of a manufacturing environment where inks and solvents create strong odors. The role requires personal protective equipment (PPE) including hairnets, ear plugs, and steel-toed boots. The shift is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.25 - $22.25/hr.
